We do not claim to be experts however we are here to help you in any way we can. If you need assistance to explore your sexuality we recommend that you speak with an Occupational Therapist so that they can assess your individual needs. We would be happy to speak with you and/or your support network to find the best solutions for your needs.
Our Maven, Susan, is frustrated by the lack of representation in the social landscape, "I am particularly frustrated with the vague assumptions that people with a disability do not desire to lead sexual lives and this is one of the core reasons why The Spicy Boudoir exists!"

There is a project in development at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) to conduct research into the design and production of adult toys specifically for people with a physical disability. The project is spearheaded by disability advocate and consultant, Andrew Gurza and his sister, Heather Morrison.
"...we have partnered with a research team at RMIT University in Australia which includes a global sex toy design expert, industrial design team, research team and occupational therapist. It's the first research piece of its kind in the world and will unlock a detailed understanding of the needs/challenges, supporting data and design recommendations needed to create the first line of sex toys that puts disabled people’s pleasure first."
Funding is critical to reaching the first phase of research. If you can support Andrew's GoFundMe campaign, no matter how small, that would be greatly appreciated. This is a research project that could help millions of people around the world embrace and celebrate their sexuality.
